Cache Children’s Choir announces its biennial treble youth choir festival, Cache Valley ChoirFest, on the campus of Utah State University in beautiful Logan, Utah with Ryan Eggett as guest conductor.

Ryan Eggett holds a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in music education from Brigham Young University and a PhD in Educational Psychology from the University of Utah. He has served as the conductor of the Utah Valley Children’s Choir, the Missionary Choir at the Provo Missionary Training Center, the Utah Valley Institute Singers, the Lex de Azevedo Millennial Singers, and the Utah Valley Christian Singers. Additionally, Ryan serves on the Hymnbook Committee of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, engaged in creating the new hymnbook. Ryan currently works professionally for the Church as the Music Manager of Member Experience. In this capacity he is overseeing the creation of the hymnbook recordings and other training resources in more than 50 languages.

USU music and education students are invited to observe the festival.

Festival Schedule:

Friday, March 14th, 2025
4:00-5:00 pm Team building activity with all the choirs
5:00-5:45 pm Pizza dinner
6:00-8:00 pm Combined rehearsal w/ Ryan Eggett

Saturday, March 15th, 2025
8:00 am-noon Individual Choir Clinics with Ryan Eggett & Allen Matthews
12:00-1:00 pm Choirs have lunch on their own.
1:30-2:45 pm Final Dress Rehearsal
3:00 pm Concert in Newel and Jean Daines Concert Hall

All events will be held in the USU Daryl Chase Fine Arts Center on the Utah State University Campus.

$250 per choir (includes participation in all events, sheet music & pizza dinner)
