Rhythmic poem of the week:

Bread and Butter

Pat your knees and clap your hands in a steady alternating rhythm.

Lyrics:
Bread and butter
Marmalade and jam
Let’s say goodbye
as quiet as we can. (whisper: goodbye)

(repeat) replacing the bold text with:
…loud as we can
…slow as we can
…fast as we can
…low as we can

Now try it again and say hello instead of goodbye.
Think of new ways to say hello/goodbye!!

Practice the poem slowly with your child. Once you have the rhythm and actions, try it with the video.
